SEK 3,000 million on a national level. Per m2 heated floor area, the energy cost would be reduced by between SEK 14.5–23.7 per year depending on geographical location.

Superior savings potential

Compared to other conventional technologies, Evertherm SEW is superior when it comes to energy savings potential. Traditional pipe heat exchangers, where it is assumed that 10% of the energy used for domestic hot water preparation can be recovered only provides an energy saving of 0.4 TWh/year on a national basis.

Large climate benefits

Energy savings also result in a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 275,844 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents/year on a national level. Per m2 heated floor area, emissions will decrease by 1.3-2.2 kg CO₂ equivalents/year depending on geographical location.

Increased property value

The implementation of Evertherm SEW has the potential of large added value. It is estimated that the implementation would result in an increased building value of SEK 60,000 million for Sweden’s multi-dwelling stock.
